A graduate of the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago, John Mangoni, M.D. is board-certified in pediatrics and has been involved in his specialty for over thirty years. Currently in private practice, he has served as Chairman of Pediatrics and is on active staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California.
As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Mangoni has been an on-camera spokesperson for Abbott Laboratories and appeared on ABC and CBS network television as a medical expert.
Dr. Mangoni has been featured in Good Housekeeping magazine and
in many newspaper articles including the Los Angeles Times and Pasadena Star-News as well as radio segments on various timely pediatric topics. He has also served as a columnist for THE magazine.
Dr. Mangoni was recently presented an award by the city of Pasadena for outstanding immunization services and his commitment to keeping children healthy. The American Cancer Society has given Dr. Mangoni a certificate of appreciation for notable service in the crusade to conquer cancer.
Dr. Mangoni is currently working on his second published book, THE SPY FROM SPACE, that will be available at all major book retailers
and Amazon.com. It will be a science fiction novel for teenagers.
